Superhero

Anyone named a Dark Knight to me is no hero of mine. I’ve never seen Superman save any souls. The Holy Trinity has conquered more darkness than the avengers could ever dream. Real transformation comes from a changed heart and life not any robots that fall out of the sky. The only superhero I want my children to know is real is Jesus!

I would never want any vampires or werewolves to teach my children about relationships or abstinence. I would never want my marriage to be covered in “50 shades of grey”. But let’s have something real for future generations to look forward to. A black and white perspective, marriage is forever, lets stop acting like it is as disposable as a piece of trash. 

Don’t tell me that it’s ok for my children to be vexed by the innocent power of harry Potter, there is no such thing as good witchcraft. Do not be surprised at the increase in violence in our generation when we pay thousands of dollars to go watch it in theatres as a form of entertainment. Wake up! When did we get so desensitized? When we did we start putting the Holy Spirit in a box only to bring Him out on Sunday. Christians we are called to a higher standard. Set a better example! If not for yourselves, then for your children! Do not let Hollywood program your minds and tell you what is acceptable for you and your family to watch per movie ratings. Make that decision for you and your family, yourself. 

We need to raise our voices and I want mine to be heard. There is so many other people out there rising up and wanting to be heard and what is their message? Is it for calling out Christians and telling them to be light in the dark world? Or is it a more sinister one trying to silence us with radical terrorist attacks and changes in politics that would dramatically alter what we know is truth!!
I am standing up for my family, my children and pointing them to the one true God who offers hope, freedom, and abundant life they could never dream; One that offers hope, love and peace. What has this world offered anyone but darkness, unrest, greed and selfishness? It is time to get up!! Rise up and Stand!

1-2 So here's what I want you to do, God helping you: Take your everyday, ordinary life—your sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and walking-around life—and place it before God as an offering. Embracing what God does for you is the best thing you can do for him. Don't become so well-adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking. Instead, fix your attention on God. You'll be changed from the inside out. Readily recognize what he wants from you, and quickly respond to it. Unlike the culture around you, always dragging you down to its level of immaturity, God brings the best out of you, develops well-formed maturity in you.
Ephesians 6:10-13

10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. 13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.
